Treasure Aiko
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Treasure Aiko’s passion for dance was nurtured by the vibrant culture of their hometown. In 2012, She were accepted into Columbia College to study Dance, later continuing their education at Moraine Valley Community College with a focus on Theatre and Dance. Immersed in the performing arts, Treasure also felt a growing desire to make a meaningful impact within their community.
That desire led them to apply for an internship at the University of Chicago’s drop-in center, The Village. Treasure was accepted and soon transitioned into a full-time role as a Community Health Worker. There, she received training in HIV/STI testing, prevention, and outreach—skills that would shape the next phase of their career. This work introduced Treasure to ballroom culture, igniting a deep connection and commitment to that community.
In 2018, Treasure relocated to Atlanta, GA, where they joined NAESM (National AIDS Education & Services for Minorities) as a Community Health Outreach Worker. Her dedication and leadership propelled them into the role of Prevention Coordinator, and in 2025, they were promoted to Prevention Manager. Through NAESM, Treasure has become a prominent voice in HIV prevention, gender identity advocacy, and LGBTQ+ rights.
Beyond her health work, Treasure is a celebrated performer. They’ve been featured on shows such as The Kiki Show (Amazon Prime), Legendary (HBO Max)Season 3, and Virgin Vogue (Red Bull documentary), as well as music videos and community events. They’ve opened for AIDS Walk Atlanta and performed alongside icons like Bob the Drag Queen and Durand Burnard.
As a Legend in the Kiki ballroom scene and a respected, Treasure mentors LGBTQ+ youth—preparing them not just for the ballroom but for life. She created safe spaces, led prevention talks, and launched creative outlets for queer dancers. Their work culminated in the founding of the Legend Elite Dance Company, powered by NAESM Inc., merging advocacy and story with artistry.
Treasure has spoken on numerous panels, podcasts, and campaigns focused on HIV awareness, gender identity, and equity. Whether on stage or in the streets, she remain committed to fighting stigma and ending the HIV epidemic. Through every performance, program, and personal interaction, Treasure continues to uplift, educate, and save lives—one day at a time.
