Shakira J. Gonzalez Hernandez is a licensed social worker with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She is currently enhancing her expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership and Project Management. Shakira also holds a specialized certification in Medical Billing (ICD-10) from Universidad Ana G. Méndez, Cupey Campus.

Beyond her clinical and academic work, she is the founder of El Sazón de Titi Shaky,a community initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity for the homeless population. Committed to advocacy for all communities, she actively volunteers with FLUX Puerto Rico, an organization supporting the Trans community and currently is the case manager in El Centro de Todes in San Juan, Waves Ahead .
