Lluvia Ramirez 

(She/They) Lluvia Roberts-Ramirez, an advocate, activist, youth worker, personality and community leader, has been working in the HIV Prevention Field since 2007, where they started off as a Social Networks Recruiter because of their popularity in the drag scene in Milwaukee, WI. Currently Lluvia is the Sr. Program Manager at AIDS Healthcare Foundation for the Public Health Division in Chicago, IL.

Lluvia worked as the Associate Director of Quality and Best Practices at Howard Brown health’s Broadway Youth Center where they worked with High-Risk LGBTQ Youth for 4 years. Lluvia worked as the TGNC Youth HIV Prevention Program Manager Of CDC’s PS17-1704, also known as the VOICES project at the Broadway Youth Center, a program of Howard Brown Health. At Howard Brown Health, they work every day to create safe spaces, programming and help dismantle systems that cause barriers for Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Youth to make sure they are able to lead safe, fruitful and visible lives regardless of HIV status. Lluvia currently is a consultant for the San Francisco Department of Public Health where they have been consulting for the last 6 years. LLuvia is the President of FLUX- Chicago, a program for TGNC people for the last 3 years.  They have been a part of various leadership programs such as the Wisconsin Leadership Fellowship for People of Color, Illinois Getting to Zero Campaign, Howard Brown Leadership Fellowship and the NMAC Reclaiming Our Place at the Table- A NMAC Policy & Advocacy Program. Lluvia currently sits on the Board of Directors for various LGBTQ organizations that serve vulnerable populations in the Chicago area.

Lluvia dedicates themselves to make sure they utilize their platform to speak up on various issues that surround LGBTQIA people, but especially Trans and Gender Non-conforming people of color and helping build capacity to help reduce the risk of HIV in various communities nationally and pushing forward to reach our ultimate goal of getting to zero.
